We started Thai Basil as a no-name business working out of a tent at the Big Sky and Livingston farmers markets. We soon realized we needed a structure to store food and stay out of the quickly changing rocky mountain weather. We had a concession trailer custom built and named our business Thai Basil.

We continued to work concerts throughout Montana, but spent most of our time at Outlaw Brewing. It was there we found the interest in authentic Thai Food. We soon realized the trailer was not going to be sufficient for the hot summers and cold winters. After years of searching we finally came to our current location.

I just ordered take out here for the first time. It was easy, fast, hot and fresh when I picked it up. They even had a separate entrance just for pickup which made it even easier. I will definitely be back. Food was really tasty and enjoyable.

I wrote this restaurant off after it's first week but I'm glad I went back. It's so good! The lunch deals can't be beat! I got the Thai vegetables (pictured) and they were so good. I've been back since and chose the Cashew Chicken and was not disappointed. I can't wait to go back again!
